We talk a lot about accountability and standards in player development. Coaches can demand more from you, correct you, push you, and hold you accountable but eventually, the highest standard has to come from within. Here’s a raw clip from the summer. At the beginning of this rep, she resets twice. Nobody tells her to. Then she gets back to it and knocks down 3 straight shots with pace and purpose. That’s the mindset. Nobody should care more about your development than you do. Your personal standard should be higher than whatever your coach, trainer, or anyone else expects from you. Set a standard. Chase it. Reach it. Then raise it again. That’s how you continually get better. 📈🏀

Too many young athletes are scared to mess up, and that fear slows development. Go slow. Find your rhythm. Then push the speed until you’re uncomfortable. Lose the ball. Make mistakes. Reset your limit and keep growing. You don’t find your limits without pushing them. 🏀 #UNDNBL #PlayerDevelopment #BasketballTraining #Hoopers #LeaveNoDoubt
